Default Differences in Raptor 660 vs 700

I have a Raptor 660 and the motor seems locked up. I have spent a lot of cha-ching and I think it's time to get a 700. I heard nothing but great things on the 700. I loved my 660 had a lot of torque but was full of bugs (Dual Carbs, Chain Adjustment, the rod goes bad because of no oiling hole, One Way Bearing, etc).

So.. I'm wondering what parts from the 660 are compatible to the 700. I may either part out my 660 or see if I can sell it as a whole and let someone else fix it. But I would like to keep some parts. I have a Roll Design Shifter, will that fit a 700? Also the Rear Grab bar that saved my Raptor many times from a bad wheelie over, can that be swapped over? What about Magnetic Drain Plug?

Is there anything to keep a serious eye out for on the 700s? I may get a used 2007 but noticed the 08 have rezzies up front, maybe worth sitting out a little longer to get an 08 model. What else has changed for 08?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can respond and shed light into my research.

The parts you're worried about swapping over come to a grand total of about 200 dollars, they shouldn't be a factor in your purchase. The parts you listed won't fit on a 700, nor will much else on your 660 besides wheels, tires and controls.

You're right on the money, I wanted to swap some of my bling from my 660 to my 700 and nothing fit, matched up nor even came close.

I want to get the 09 SE pretty bad. I have been looking at 660's and 700's for a while now. But they are all just too expensive for me.

Don't wait too long, they're not getting any cheaper. I just love the color on the SE, which makes me think, when did they switch from LE to SE?
