2003 Raptor LE
#1
Hey guys,
I am about to buy a 2003 Raptor LE, it has 10 hours on it, the thing is in mint condition. Price is $3750.00
What do you think of the price ? (he wanted 4500)
Can anyone tell me what is the differance ,from a regular Raptor and an LE ?
Besides color ?
Where do I check the oil on a Raptor ? is there a screw in plug ? what side of the bike is it on?

I have an 07 raptor se, and love it. But, I am no expert on them, so i was curious and looked up book value on it. in excellent condtion it said it was worth 3495 for the se model and 3375 for the standard model, you didn't say much about if it was stock or had any extras.
Maybe someone else with more expirence on values will chime in

Where you live has a bearing on whether that price is good or not, with that being said:
Where I live, that's a very good price.
Only difference with LE is cosmetics, graphics and such.
Checking the oil, the tank is below the gas tank in front of the engine.
There's a plastic screw in dip stick, check it on the right side.
When checking it, don't screw it in to check level, just stick it in to the threads.
