Hey! I was wondering which is a faster quad top speed wise.

 

They are about the same at around 74-75 mph

lol why? everyone likes to exaggerate with top speeds, but bottom line there isnt any stock atvs that will do over 80mph if your quad does 70+ then thats hauling *** on a quad, unless your dune riding why the heck wud it matter, for one u lose low end, and 2 all u need is like 60mph maybe, and just build it to where it gets there fast, its all about the acceleration

 

yes really dont need the top end. and all it takes to make it go faster is a new sproket.

 

Like everyone said, all these top performance quads generally do somewhere around 70-75mph, and things like terrain, rider weight, experience, quad setup, altitude, exageration, all make more difference in speed than the difference between them.

Bottom line, they are FAST.

i generally dont like going over 60-65 anyway it freaks me out and the handling is too sesitive at those speeds
id rather have the a machine that would blow the others away at the starting line

 

I don't know which one would win a drag, but the Raptor should have better low end power, the YFZ better top end power with lower weight.

when built the raptor 700 and yfz450 trade wins all the time. it is very very close
