wolverine 450 ---> 09 raptor 700
#1
I have a 07 wolverine 450 se with a gytr exhaust and i think that the top speed is not good enough. I also want a quad with gears so do you think the raptor is a good idea? I also ride around on the streets a lot so will the raptors clutch be a problem in trafic or trafic lights?

thanks for the reply. the thing is i live in switzerland and i am thinking of selling it there and i will get at least 12000 franks from the bike which is 12000 dollars and if i decide to buy a 700r it will cost me 8 thousand from the states and then another 1 or 2 for shipping to switzerland. if the price isnt really a problem do you still think the yfz would be a better idea?
thanks

plus you can up grade the yfz cheeper then the rapter.</end quote></div>
i would not agree with this statement. i would say a raptor 700 with the big 3 will beat a yfz450 with the big 3. it is a close raptor but i think the raptor gets them. and the raptor is about to get a new kickass intake made by fuel customs that will make atleast 3 more hp than the best intake now.

there is a small spot by the airbox. as far as the 09 not sure if they added a storage box under the plastic

The advantage I see to the Raptor for street use is going to be torque and less frequent rebuilds. The YFZ is an awesome machine, but if you are putting a lot of hours on it, the 700 is probably a better bet.
