I have a yamaha grizzly 600. was driving it and it died. started it back up and drove another 100 yds and died again. And wont start back up. Its getting gas, its firing, put new carb kit on. still no start. was blowing oil thru carb and still is. battery and spark plug are good. does anybody have any ideas?

 

I also have a Griz 600. You might want to check the timing. Sounds a bit like a belt problem.

do you have any diagrams or pictures of timing mark behind crank case?

 

Check your compression.If you dont have a compression checker then at least take the spark plug out and put your finger over the spark plug hole and try to start.If it doesnt blow your finger off the hole then you dont have any compression.If it does blow your finger off the hole then you might want to get a compression checker to see if it has enough compression.
