what type of quad do you enjoy the most?

 

I didn't vote because I can't choose. I love them both. Anyone else torn between?

 

I chose the Ute, because im 6'2 and 350lbs.... EVERY sport I have ever sat on makes me feel like Grape Ape..... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

I own both and never realy liked sport quads nither as I am a big guy too 6'2 220lbs they just didn't fit my body/frame comfotably that is until I sat on the Raptor 700R! Yes I love my Popo but when I can go about 85%of the places that 4x4s go and am able to throw my quad around other than the other way around I will be ridin a sport quad. I will never give up the 700R or the sport of atving ever!

 

i own two sports and two 4x4s and the 4x4s get used much more than the sports,my family just has more fun on the 4x4s

 

i must say that i like the sports more, i just dont see how you can have as much fun on the 4x4 quads.

 

I chose utility bcs I think they are really fun in mud, I don't like getting stuck in 5 secconds then spend 30mins getting unstuck. I also like the challenge of trying to do sport-quad stuff on a utility quad, like wheelies, stoppies, and trying to clear huge jumps. And I don't really care if its sluggish, thats part of the challenge.

 

I think they both have there pluses and uses sport for fun and 4x4 for work

 

I really like my Honda Rincon but I even rode a lawn tractor around for fun back in the early 60's. I don't know when ATV's came along but that lawn tractor was probable one of the first.

 

When you have mostly rocky, wet, and muddy trails like we do in New England, I think you're more apt to enjoy a 4x4. I'd like to see a true 4wd sport quad someday that is closer to 400 lbs. but I don't know if that is even possible. I'd even be willing to shift it. As has been said, it's not so fun to spend all day winching out of mudholes.
