well its been 3 years with the stock tires. lately i have been getting stuck in puddles... well not really, but its getting rediculous pushing my quad. so im wondering what kind of tires do people suggest for this wheeler? i ride on dirt roads(the dirt roads are open in my town) rocks, and some mud. since its been raining every other day there is more mud than normal. in the winter i ride some. so which tire would be good for these riding conditions? i dont want a mud tire. other than the mudlite SP, what else is everyone using? i liked my stock tires. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maxxis is a good tire. The original Razr may be better suited for hard surfaces. 22" will give extra clearance if need it. I would suggest dropping a tooth in front if do especially if low gear for rock crawling.

One of the ITP Holeshots. I run XC's (desert), but there are a number of different models, so look for one that is suited for your particular conditions.....maybe the H-D?

Amen to that. Razr 2's are 6 ply, tough as nails, and grip insane. They will actually improve the handling quite a bit, they look quite nice too. I know some people dont like the price but i think its worth it, you get what you pay for.

Go radial all the way!
I just got I-Razr radials on my z400 and I love them....... I've heard they wear fast in the hard pack though. But I ride a lot of soft soil here in Upstate NY and they are excellent for mud, or loam and regular old dry soil....They are much better then the stock Dunlops I had........ the wide spaced lugs of a radial are great in the mud too...... I'm also a big fan of the way a radial kills the bump-steer and head-shake better then a bias ply tire.......
I like IPT too but their new radial did not impress me as much as the Maxxis I-Razr...
