How hard is it to change the left case on 250r? Does it require special tools or press? I would like to do the work myself. I am handy with a wrench but never changed a case.

 

Buy a book.

Serously. It isn't too difficult and the only special tools you will need is the flywheel puller and someting to hold the clutch basket while you remove the bolt (don't just stick a screwdrive in there...I know someone who broke it).

It is fairly simple if you're detail oriented, but definitely get the book if you haven't done it before.
