I'm throwing around the idea of getting a buddies ds and putting a turbo kit on it. Who makes them and roughly how much?

 

Contact AZSAND, he runs turbo's he could direct you in that department.

 

Try BigRay800 also. He's running a pretty wicked one.

 

Not sure anymore but KMS used to make a fuel injection and Turbo set up !!!

 

Yeah I just tried to give them a call but they are not open on Sat.. I'll have to try during the week.

 

I think KMS uses TM45's on their turbo setups now.

 

KMS is still in buiness but the kool thing about our economy is those who pratice bad morals die durung these times and ill bet they don't last another year. And the ds dose handle a turbo just fine there are improvements needed on all the kits avaliable. But gary dose have some good tips on building a sturdy turbo ds.Last i heard he even had a completed one for sale.And no matter what anyone says he has the only totaly sussesfull build running after what ? 3 three years no one is even in the same ball park as he is.and while she is not the fastest in the world she is within a few 100'sth of the fastest.

 

it's hard for anyone to stay in business when their customers don't pay their bills......

 

I got in touch with KMS. Their turbo kits start at $6000. I would have to take the bike to them in Arizona and they would need it for 12 weeks. They are getting between 75-80 rwhp out of them on pump gas.
