well i picked up a near mint 01 500 sportsman..i am trying to to change the torn rear inner cv boot ,but i cannot get the axle to come out of the transmision..i have pryed,i have beat,i have cussed and even drank about it..still wont budge ,now what

 

Have machine on jackstand or lift,tie upper link up out of way,use penetrating spray,use heat again,have someone hold opposite side of atv,then jerk like trying to pull someones leg off!! I'm not exagerating one bit! Sometimes sand,dirt and grit almost welds splines into tranny.You can still cuss if you like,I still do myself,since I change about 4-5 a week! If not sucessfull at first,THEN do again! It will finally come.
