We're going on an all day ride Tuesday and I'm wondering how long will my tank of gas last?

 

I am not sure but I can tell you that it will not last 250 hours. Maybe 250 miles but I even doubt that.

I usually get between 70 and 80 miles just riding around the farm without using reserve on my Rubicon.

The "250" is the CC (size of engine)

 

Oh my bad. I thought you were asking if you could get 250 hours per tank of gas. I'm sorry.

 

Haha, that's ok. Thanks for responding though! So 70-80 miles? I have no idea how to tell mileage on this thing.

 

The Recon is so fuel efficient I cannot image it not lasting all day. Just make sure you have the fuel tap on the main tank, not on the reserve or bottom pick up tube. When you hit reserve you have a long time till your out.

i had a 250ex and when i went to arkansa i rode at 150 to 200 miles and only filled it up once. i miss that my 400ex just eat the gas.

250 Ex's get around 25-30 miles per gallon, maybe even more.....70 miles is about right........My 400Ex get about 18-20 mpg.....
