LABOR: = 4 Hours

Total Service = 398.00

Seems like they where vary through and I like the prices.

That is in the ballpark to what I paid for the 50hr on my 800 over here on the East Side Discovery

 

I only have one quad and that's about what I expect to pay for my twice a year service. My dealer checks the brake pads, and looks for anything obvious like loose bolts, too. They usually do a good job but they go through personnel too fast. I wish the people who know what they're doing would stay there.

 

thats the first dealer ive seen ever replace anything besideds the oil/filter and top off the fluid for a first service. that would be about right in prices though.

I actually enjoy doing the service myself. You can do the same work in the same amount of time for less than half the price. The closest dealer is 30+ minutes away and usually takes about a week to turn one around. I once paid $210 for an oil change on the V-Star 1100. That's when I said to myself "hey, I can do this".

yeah i like how they call it a "oil change kit" hoping that they can charge more money--and they do--and they get it!!! boy after what kukerdan said, i almost swallowed my dealer oil change rape whistle!!!
