Another Yamaha Dominating the four-stroke class!!!!
#1
Just watched the YZ250f win its second race of the season in the 125 class in dominating fashion. Just goes to show who the leader in four-stroke technology is and who continually playing catch up. Maybe Honda will have something in the new 450 that they have copied off Yamaha's 426.
By the way. The 250f would be 3 for 3 but it stalled and lost a lap trying to get it going. He did it again in his heat race and had to go the the last chance qualifier to get to the main. He had a terrible starting position but came out of the holeshot 6th but quickly charged and was alone at the finish.

That YZ250F looks nice, doesn't it! I just went to the dealer and checked it out. I think I'm going to give up my Raptor for one. I love the Raptor, but I feel more natural on two wheels. I wasn't completely sure before, but now I am...the Raptor is for sale (ha-ha **** moderator)!

Speaking of copying. I wonder if Yamaha still has that 400ex sitting around that they used to copy the frame geometry to make the CRAPTOR. Sorry, couldn't let that comment get by me Kyraptor.
P.S.
I'm looking forward to the big ride on Saturday. See ya then.

Honda has owned atv and dirtbike racing for twenty years its about time someone caught and passed them at least in the dirtbike arena. Go Blue.

the 300Ex rider is all mouthy, thats great, would you explain what was copied from an 400Excuse? The geometry was taken from a Lonestar 250r frame and modified to hold the big 660, with a good center of balance and a fair sense of lightness.

Sorry guys, I guess I just got confused from reading every article in dirt wheels, atv action and every other magazine before the raptor was released, where they compared every part of the raptor to the 400ex. "It handles similiar to the 400ex". "The frame geometry is similiar to the 400ex". Honda is known for being front end light. The only ones having trouble with the raptor are former banshee riders! I'm not trying to put the raptor down by any means. I personally like it myself. I have ridden one several times, and it feels right at home to me. I'm used to light front ends. That's why I love Honda's so much. I'm a wheelie freak in other words. I'm not here to argue, so I'll just end my comments here.
