Changing '80 110 Points to CDI...Doable?
I have the opportunity to pick up an entire CDI unit for not too much money from a mid '80s 110...can I replace the points on my '80 with the CDI unit? Do I just replace the unit, the plug in under the seat and the coil? Will that work or is there something in the starter re-coil? Thanks,
