2002 Raptor 660 Radiator/fan
#1
I have a 2002 Raptor 660 and i don't think the radiator fan is kicking in.. i havnt actually got out and steamed it up really hard but let it warm up well enough for it to have kicked in, and it just doesn't. is there a way i could test it? or what other problem could cause it?
ive heard thermal switch, and also heard its very unlikely to go bad.. what should i do? how do i test the fan? how do i know it isn't something else?

Never had a overheating problem on the Raptor 660. It is pretty hard to get that fan to run. You would probaly have to be working it hard and a slow pace with no air to get it to kick in. Is your fluid overflow full?

Same with mine, let it idle for hrs and no fan action. Ride the dunes hard in summer and no fan still. Get a in line temp gage if your worried, or just keep a eye on your overflow bottle.
