I just purchased a 2004 Rincon with 650 miles on it. It seems very nice in condition. But it is my wifes ride and you know how that works I would like to make it be the best it can. It cranks and runs ok, but acts like it has a ignition miss in it to me. I replaced the plug in it which had alot of carbon build up on it and it did not help any other suggestions?

 

Do a search on this forum for clearing codes and initialization of th ecm.
If after this proceedure has been completed and an engine miss is still noted, PM me

With that few miles on it, it probably sat around for awhile. Regardless if its linked to the miss or not, I'd have the gas tank drained and cleaned, along with the filter and carb. Bad gas can leave gunk in the fuel system that can cause you problems.
