I recently won a Tanksport scout 400 4x4 from a St. Jude raffle. I have never heard of this brand before, ans was wondering if anybody can give me a heads up on this machine.

Congratulations.
Heck, not a bad price no matter what it is. Have fun, but make sure all the nuts and bolts are tight.
Ride safe, the irony of winning a quad from a hospital, just to wind up at a hospital isn't something you'll want to do.

Stick it on Craigslist as a brand new, unused quad. Get $1,500 - $1,200 real quick, maybe more. Once you use it (even a little) then it's just another used quad and will be harder to sell.

I agree, unless you like working on ATV's sell it new! I have 4 Chinese atv's and I can asure you will be working on it all the time! I'll bet you can get upwards of $2000. for it though!

fellas, i appreciate the comments. i picked it up yesterday, and it sure looks like a four wheeler. i have been wanting one for a while, but other priorites. i will be using it to haul deer out the woods and play at the camp. and i don't mind tinkering with it if neccessary.
gonna give it a try. if it does,'t work out, well i'm out $40.
if i sell it, i will surely have to put wood floors in my living room.
p.s. i hate my avator.

I'm wondering how your getting away with the the $40. There going to report it for taxes. Your going to pay 30% of retail to the feds and what ever state tax sucks from you. If you sell it for $2000 you make break even. Your $40 wheeler is going to cost you a bundle.
