hey guys i'm new to the forum, and I just bought a 2008 honda trx 250ex last year this is my first quad and I wanted to know about a rev box like if i put a rev box on it will I have more power? or will I just be able to pull the gears longer? also does anybody make a fuel injection conversion kit that I could put on it? thanks for your help. and great forum.

This machine has limited suspension anyway, so not much use in trying to hop it up to much. The faster you go, the sooner you are going to excede the capabilities of the suspension. Better to just move up to a better machine....

ok thanks for the help guys. what are the air intake mods that I can do? and I have already ordered the k&n air filter the other day. and I ordered some new tires for the rear of it today. and how hard would it be to rejet the carb for the k&n filter, and what jets would I need? sorry for all the questions. thanks for your help and time guys.

Twin Air filter, HMF exhaust, and a high ratio rocker arm are the most common setups on the track. Makes a huge difference on this quad. I wouldnt worry about the rev box unless you want more topend speed AFTER installing the mentioned parts. The power curve of that engine isnt going to make power in the range a rev box would give you. Dont be fooled by marketing ploys. A rev box is useless on this ATV without mods and even then, the only gain you will get is a bit more overrev for top speed. Nothing else.

thanks for the help. I wondered how the rev box would work anyway. but does anybody have any pics or instructions on how to do the twin air filter mod? and where can I get the high ratio rocker arms from?.
