I recently upgraded from a 98 Quadrunner 500 to an 07 Vinson manual shift. My old Quad 500 served me well, and I knew the Vinson had basically the same engine, tranny, etc.

The only thing that I dont like about the Vinson is the rearend noise. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Will senthetic gear oil help with the anoying roaring sound?

 

I have had the same issue with my 05 Vinny, but always attributed it to the tires....do you have stock or aftermarket tires on your 07?

 

I have stock tires and have noticed the noise since buying the vinson. I have about 200 miles on it now. The dealer said the noise is normal for the Vinson and Eiger.
