snorkle kit 07 big bear 400
#4
I just bought 2 sticks of pipe(more than enough)a few 90's & 45's.Get something for the top of the stack and get some type of removeable connection for your stack so you don't have to cut it if you need to remove your fenders. Also some glue and black silicone to seal every thing up.Just take your time and piece it together before using the glue. Also don't for get to extend your carb and diff vents or they can suck in water too

Does anyone know where to get detailed instructions on how to snorkel an 08 Yamaha Grizzly 450 IRS? I want to build my own but I honestly don't even know where to start... I am tired of cleaning out my clutch and changing my oil every weekend!!!

you must have a leak somewhere that is letting water in the crankcase. i had my 99 big bear submerged to the gas tank a month ago for about 10 minutes trying to get out of a deep mud hole and nothing was in my crankcase or diffs. i checked all that after i got home. and even if the carb sucked water in, it would hydrolock if it were a big enough of an amount. water does not compress so the motor would be unable to compete a revolution. they either die or break a connecting rod.
