Dumb question for a newbie..........just bought an 07 Rincon today and the little guy loading it on the trailer nor the salesman went over anything with me. First Honda ever and am looking for the reserve fuel tank switch. I remember the guy saying it was switched on; but I can't find anywhere to turn it off. Called the dealership and they said on the left hand side by the gas tank; but can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No it doesn't have a manual petcock for reserve .. When it goes on reserve the last LCD segment of the fuel gauge along with the picture of the fuel pump will flash to remind you that your on reserve ...

 

Thanks alot! That indeed does answer a big question in my mind. I have looked for that thing all day long and couldn't find it. Makes me feel not so much like an idiot!

 

I think it's the guy at your dealership who should be feeling like an idiot...

Since they switched to EFI (06) there is no reserve petcock. I'd presume the fuel injection fuel pump doesn't care to be routinely run dry, so the low fuel warning light serves the same purpose.
