is there any way that i can bypass any sensor so that when i engage 4x4 it is engaged right then instead of having to wait for the rear wheels to spin?so i can use the ebs on down hills.

 

Not without modifying the front hubs. At least not that I know of.

 

Try different air pressures. Front more rear less. I say this because when I put Bearclaws front & rear on my Scram. The rears were the same as stock but the fronts were taller by 1/2 an inch. Now my AWD engages instantly. I`m not sure if it will help with the EBS but I do know if the front tire is a little taller it changes the ratio and the front will engage sooner. HTH

There are absolutely no sensors.

When you press the button you apply power to the coils at the two front wheels. This ALLOWS the mechanical front hubs to engage, IF the rear wheels slip. The engagement is purely mechanical, not electrical. This is why playing with the tire size (as mentioned above) will make the hubs lock sooner, or later (depending on the ratio of front to back tire height).

Sorry no sensors to play with, no way to press that button and have positive engagement.

the only way i see that u could do that is to install the new ViscoLoc front end. or u could buy the new Mag RMK and have EBS on 4 wheels

Someone has to explain to me what's so hard about comming down a steep hill on any quad!I here so many people complain about no 4wd comming down a hill?Who is going to get stuck comming down a hill?Use the brakes if you want 4wheels slowing you down a hill.I do not even have EBS period and I do not get the hard time going down a hill thing.I have a 1wd mountain bike that will go down any steep hill I want if you use the brakes correctly.
