what oil to use

Default what oil to use

i have a grizzly 660 under my seat says to use either 20-40 or 10-30 so which one is better ??? also was told 20-50 what do yall run in your bike and why ????

In the colder weather run the 10w30..... if you live where it gets very hot, and you do a lot of long hot rides at low speeds, run with the 20w50.......

You should be safe with either...... I'd probably run the 10w30 all year around up here in NY state........ but if I lived in SoCal I might run the 20w50.....

i think there is a 0w50 yamalube or something like that. if you ran that or the JASCO equivalent you should be ok for no matter what climate you choose to go riding.

if i was to pick should i run 10w-40 or 20w-50 i live in houston tx ?????

I run Yamalube 20W50 Spring, Summer and Fall and I live up in Massachusetts and Ride mostly in Maine and NH...

Since your are in Texas.. I would run 20W50 for sure!! The 20W50 is geared for more warmer weather riding or if you are always riding when it is 40 (F) and above... I run it and will always run it! Yamaha's run a little hot anyhow.. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
