Default Attaching cooler to front sportsman rack

I boght a nice soft side 20 hour cooler bag for my quad it has 4 straps with buckles that mount crossways left to right. The problem is trying to attach it to the front box lid with the rails going left and right also. I've tought of everthing that is too bulky and dosen't work and could use some pics or ideas that actually work for you guys. I dont want to cut holes in the lid but could drill and seal bolt holes.

What if you buy the front cargo bars. Could you attach to the bars? Just a thought.

I have the lock and ride box on the back full of gear. If you are refering to the channel with holes that run left to right. I have them already. They seam to be useless for anything other than a bungee cord.

When I tried putting a cooler on the front it bounced around so much the bungees wouldn't hold it, so I put it on the back.

Just use the front storage box as a cooler

I also got the front rack extender for tying off front end items. Otherwise I use a cargo net and attach as many of the hooks as possible. I wouldn't use a ratchet strap with the rack extender though. I think it could possibly end up pulling the attachment bolts through the front plastic.

Sometimes the simplest idea literally falls off the shelf and gets your attention.

Sweet. No bungees stretching letting it flop around. now it's time to put some cold ones in and try it out.
