Please help with the above if you can, I have just puchased an unknown heap of rust because of my location I have had it delivered to my daughters place. I want the chassis number but I dont know where it is,to ask her.

 

thats an interesting phrase to describe your wheeler lol. it should be in a couple of places, 1 would be maybe on the front by head light if the tag is still there or it would be stamped into the frame rails. tell her to look over the frame to find a number stamped into the frame it self(should be the only one) and that will be the one.

 

Got any pictures? I would like to see this "heap of rust". lol!

 

Stendori the only picture of the quad was on ebay,however before I start on it I will take some and share them with you . I suppose a progressive picture gallery would be a laugh. Thanks for that Chevyman . I cant see her looking all over it. so I will have to wait until I can pick It up. Steve

 

yeah I wanna see this hunk of rust.I never knew polaris made a diesel atv.

 

Yes Polaris made diesel quads around the 1999 era,apparently a good workhorse but slow which suits me very well, as I have done the speedy bit.

 

i see a diesle polaris kick but at the atv pulls a long time ago w/ all the weight the bike could hold and you couldnt stop it.

 

I think it was a 455. A guy at work had one on his farm and loved it. He hardly ever needed his tractor after getting the Sportsman diesel.

 

i beleave your right about the engine size.

 

We only sold about two total,BUT the owners loved em! I just could not get over the NOISE! Probably good farm/utility machine,but we sell a lot to hunters and the diesel was so loud,could hear em coming about a mile away!
