Carhartt Thumbs-Up !!
#1
I've have several Carhartt coats, including one I bought for my wife a bit over 4 years ago. Anyway, last week, the bottom metal strip on the zipper of her coat came off. I contacted them through their web site, and they responded a day later, informing me that there is a lifetime
guarantee on the hardware of all their coats. They told me they would replace the entire zipper for free, plus pick up my return shipping costs.
Just thought I'd pass this along. Sure would be nice to get this kind of guarantee on our 4-wheelers

Hey, thanks for posting this! I had the same thing happen on my newest carhartt jacket-that bottom flat piece that starts into the zipper pulled out of the stiching, so it won't zip up now. What steps did you go through, and do you have their web address? Glad to hear they've got the lifetime warranty on the hardware, that's definately a bonus. I love their workwear, probably have at least one of every item they make. Oh, a bit of warning, if you need a good set of winter bibs, jacket or coveralls but usually get warm easy, do not get the arctic wear! Even in just a T-shirt, I am about sweating to death, stick with just the standard insulation (red lining) the black is way too warm for my taste.
Anyway, let me know if you've got the address, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again for the post!

Dickies are good too. My Dickies work jacket started to fray after washing it once. I emailed them and they told me to send the jacket in and they would replace it for free. They also have lifetime warrentee on their cloths.
You can't beat Carharts and Dickies for off roading, they really hold up, are warm, and look good too.

Thanks for reminding me. Hubby has two coats that the zippers broke and I kept forgetting to call them. I just emailed them for the information on how to get them replaced. Are they going to fix the coat or replace it? How much did it cost to ship the coat to them? Aren't carhartts great!?

Well I had no idea there that was this many Carhartt disciples here. Their double front tan Duck pants go through thorns like nobody’s business.
Available In tan or high fashion Roost King black, also cut into great shorts.
My dedicated ridding pants.
Me so tired.

when it comes to working in cold weather there are two kinds of people: Those that have Carhartts and those that wish they had Carhartts...
I've had my insulated bibs and coat for 4 years now, and they look as good as the day they came off the rack.
