would it hurt to use a yz450f on my yfz450 i already have a full yoshimura system but i want to make a shorty muffler would it hurt to us the dirtbike muffler i mean they are like the same motor i think they would look nice on a yfz too

 

Probably won't fit. Most people just cut the canister, drill new holes and bolt/rivet the end back on. You also have to cut the inner screen mesh and packing.

 

i looked it should fit i can always make bracket but it looked like it should fit

 

You realize that changing the length of the muffler/cannister is going to change your power curve.....?!?

 

And where it connects to the headpipe needs to be the same length, size and angle.

 

ya ill have two mufflers so i thought i would switch when i needed
