After years on various utility quads, I bought a TVI 720 and put a Booni kit on it. First time out, my wife said to slow down or you will have a 'cardiac'. (I have had a couple of cardiac bypasses)

Mine is my nickname that has carried over from my fire academy many years ago and now to my station where I am now the captain. We are young, fast and aggressive and usually (hopefully) have the fire knocked down before the arrival of the next engine company, thus we are called firehogs!

Long story short...
Being a product of the 60's and 70's I dabbled in some things that maybe I shouldn't have. Being a huge KISS fan and a major Ace Frehley fanatic alot of things I owned back then had his pictures/stickers/decals/patches/etc all over them, so in High School I was given the name Ace and it stuck.
Then I joined the Marine Corps and was pretty decent at volleyball so again the tag arose. Got to the Marine Corps Rifle Team and was decent at that too, then I won the Tennessee state 1000yd championship and I'll be damned if someone didn't coin the phrase then.
It's kind of followed me around since 1977 or so, and after college my life ran a little parallel to his until I got my **** together, then he wrote a song that kind of layed it out. Of course I never owned a Delorean.
Been using aceisback since I discovered the internet back in the 90's so I guess it's here to stay. Here's a snippet of the song Rock Soldiers by Ace Frehley:
It was back in the summer of '83
There's a reason I remember it well
I was slipping and sliding, drinkin' and drivin'
Bringin' me closer to Hell
And the Devil sat in the passenger's side
Of Delorean's automobile
He said: Hey Frehley, Frehley let's not be silly
There's a life out there to steal
With a trooper in the mirror
and Satan on my right
We went the wrong way down a one way road
Hitting everything in sight
I cried "I am invincible"
Said I was high above the law
But my only high was just a lie
And now I'm glad I saw
Rock soldiers come
And rock soldiers go
Some hear the drum
Some never know
Rock soldiers! How do we know?
Ace is back and he told you so.

Dull and boring response from me:
First name starts with "J", Last name with a "B", I'm a CONtractor. Since I'm not the only jaybeecon out ther in ciberland (go figure) I had to add the "55" to make it unique.
