When I say anything....I'm sticking with the bigger bikes...400 and up.

Ummmm...........No! Wait, what do you mean by fully modded?
Banshee's are probably the cheapest and most able motor to mod out there, hands down.

Well if I had the money, I could go out right now and build a 250r and a banshee engine and have not a single yamaha or honda part in either. You can even get aftermarket cases and transmissions!!!!
Not only that, but th 250R can go from 200-370cc's
the Banshee has kits for 250(I guess for racing classes, kind of stupid) all the way up to 640cc's and triple cylinder kits that break the one liter mark.
third would be a tie for past tense if you can get my meaning, when the 400ex came out, then the Z400 they were competing against the modded 250R then after they were phased out the 400s had to face the 450's
So at one point there were 400's that had nothing but the cases from the factory, everything else from chasis to everything in and around the cases was aftermarket.
The polaris 400 has had a rich history of quality builds I'll give you that. I spacifically remember this beautiful TT racer, that just howled and looked so good. Performed with the fastest DS650s, Zillas, and Banshees of the time, and held it's own too.
