There were 1,400 topics at that time in the Bomb forums. Now there are 22,000. I'd been on for one month.
Clicking back to the forums and then again on Bombardier it jumped back another 20 days, I'm recognizing alot of the old names.

 

That's kind of cool. Thanks for showing us that.

12/10/2001 was my first join date. Looks like I was only able to post about 8 times under that name (SierraClubSucks) before the mods made me change my name.

Looks like I joined again 12/19/2001 - Then Jeff told me I had to change my name because I was too slow [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

There were some fun years for sure. Still enjoy it. . . it's just different.

 

OT but relevant to DuneMe's original name...the Sierra Club's San Diego Chapter moved in right next door to my office....All their signs that say Sierra Club are carved our routered out of wood....Hmmmm, isn't that a waste?

I asked them why they would make them out of wood that could be used for other more important things....they said they were made out of scrap lumber, so I said that it should have been used to be mulched up and made into particle board which is less impactful on the environment...

She just shot me a dirty look and walked away....

So then they were moving boxes in and parked in the Post Office space...send a note to the landlord and poof they are on watch now, another infraction and they will have to leave....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

BTW, early one morning we put a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on their window....they enter from the back so they still haven't seen it and it's been over a week...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
