ok i might get a 400ex cuz the warrior isnt fast enough for me i want to keep up with my buddies z400's and some what close to kfx450s there pretty much stock im thinkin of a 440 kit but ive heard something about head studs getting stretched? i was looking at this kit would it be good? what head studs are they talking about plz help i might even just get a 426 kit if some one can send me a link to a good kit for one

i would get the 426 kit. less risk of gaskets gettin blown.

 

i know but i got an offer for a 400ex with a 440 kit, lrd pipe,extended axle, better clutch. and eddelbroc carb, and holeshots all the way around i think if i get it im gonna get better head studs or what ever tho are they hard to put in or expensive? the quad just needs front plastic chain and sprockets it might not even need front plastics i dont know yet

 

EVERYONE THAT I HAVE TALKED TO SAYS TO STAY AWAY FROM THE 440, THEY ARE MORE TROUBLE THAN WHAT THEY ARE WORTH.

 

ok thanks for the info i might get it and see how it works out but if i start to have problems ill get a cylinder and a 426 kit how will the quad do with a 426 kit with the mods it has?

 

compared to like a z400 and mostly stock 450rs or 450s with minor upgrades. ill probably get cams and kibble white valves and springs if i get cams i head you need hard faced rockers or something?
