Default Polaris Project

Hi,

Just got a Polaris ATV as a rebuild project. At this point all I know is that it is a "350" (cast on the cylinder head) and that it has the following motor numbers: EC35PL 351cc 92-00062 BY FUJI HEAVY (?)INDLTD(?). Also it is a 4WD.

I think I'm going to need a new cylinder for it. The piston cracked after (according to the prev. owner) the oil injection failed. It has been sitting outside in the weather, cylinder off, crank case covered with plastic and duct taped. The cylinder has major corrosion to the point of loss of metal in critical areas (I will try to post pictures later). Looks like battery acid was spilled on it.

I wonder if anyone can verify the year model of this as a 93 as the prev owner suggested (I can not find a frame number stamped or on a sticker)?

Does anyone have a junked out bike with a cylinder available for sale (okay if it needs to be bored/sleeved)? Or, know of a good place to find used parts? Or, a place with reasonable prices on new ones?

Thanks for the feedback - I'm sure I'll need to post more later... maybe I'll post some pics during the rebuild project.

Thanks

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

You a 350L 4x4 and once you take the motor apart you can see if it is boreable.Parts are plentiful for those on Ebay
1990-1993 motor parts will fit. Most GENII body and chassis parts will work.
Very nice machines
