Default Predator 500, please help

My Predator dies when the nose drops while braking, or down shifting. I was sitting at an idle, got off of it and pushed the bumper downwards with my hands and it died also. What could cause that?

Sounds like you may have a loose wire or ground issue. Try reposting your message to oldpolaristech. He is a popo mechanic and is frequently on here offering excellent professional advice.

If the float was set too low in the carb, there may be a chance you starve for fuel when the quad goes off level, for example, nose down,or shifting, lifting the nose up. There would be gas to idle, and to take off, but if the main jet lifts out of the level in the bowl, you get a big shot of air and no gas, causing a stall. Sounds dumb, I know, but just putting an idea out there.
