I figured someone has done the research on this or knows where I can pull one from.

My pilot air screw needed adjusting cuz it won't idle any more, but unfortunately it was seized up pretty good and lets just say it won't be coming out....I destroyed it! Before I drill it out and do surgery I'm going to get another carb so I can ride this fall/winter.

IF you have carb or carb body that fits I'll buy it from you. Ebay is $$$$$

ebay might have,they came with a 38 and 40mm mikuni carb.

 

Any 500HO carb will work

 

Does anyone have a source to purchase replacement pilot screws? I have a Polaris Trail Boss with a Mikuni BST34 mm carb. I damaged mine getting it out and I can't find a source to buy the parts, or a kit that has it. Thanks in advance.

 

In 98 the Srambler 500 was first to get the H.O treatment (40mm carb and hot cam) then the Sportsman had it done in 2001.

So on ebay do not just look under scrambler parts.

 

I have searched ebay for several key words; polaris, pilot screw, Mikuni, etc. etc. etc. I've also contacted several retailers about kits, and searched polaris and Mikuni company sites. Still can't find it.

BTW Polaris customer service really sucks wind!
