is it worth it? how much more power/speed do you gain?

 

What i understand is its supposed to put you over 55 horse dont know on speed. Is it worth it thats up to you. If you do do it have your head ported and polished with the new kit but then again we are talking money.

Ported and polish makes the air flow through the head with a higher velocity which means less stress on your motor and the easier it works the more power you feel in you seat. How much it costs depends on the machine shop you take it too but anywhere from 250 dollars to 500 dollars

Yes it is but if you want to spend the money on the 478 kit might as well port and polish b/c why spend the money on the kit and the head hold back some horses and then next you'll be saying man it dont run like 15 horse increase.
