Has anyone heard that FMF now makes a pipe/spark legal muffler for the Polaris 400 ? I have seen it but do not know much about it. It look very cool and clean, plus is U.S. Forest approved with the Turbine Core muffler. It sounds sweet. I know zero specs on this pipe. What about a clutch kit and jetting for this pipe. Not a package deal that work together like ones from HotSeat or HPD? FMF's website was no help. If you have any info on this pipe, please help. Adam

Hello Adam, My friend bought a new 99 400 4x4 last year and added the fmf pipe about a month later, He said fmf did not reccomend a clutch kit or richer jetting but he ended up having to re-jet to keep from running to lean, The main problem I have with the pipe is that I have a 2000 400 2x4 and I could still pull away from him by about 4-5 lengths in the 1/8 mile and keep on going away from him the longer we went. In my experience HPD or RCR is the way to go,I had a RCR on my TB before I sold it and Have a HPD on my 400 now They really have the most improvement ive seen. By the way when I was racing my friend my bike was completely stock.
