Default 2002 Scrambler 400

I have a 2002 Scrambler 400 with 4wd and was wondering what transmission would fit in it that would have low gear. Can I just take one out of a 400 Xplorer? Or can I buy a different sprocket or something to gear the wheeler lower? Everything on the wheeler is stock but the engine, its bord 30 over with a pipe and reeds on it. And I want more low end, I am not able to crawl through the woods like I want to. Any info would be appreciated.

you can't gear it,you will ruin the awd.i have a 500 slightly modded and it will walk up a wall, you might want to look at the compression.i hear a 400 is more badasser than the 500.
