It an '08 and I hope to buy it for $6599+ tax, if somebody else did'nt beat me to it today.
Is this a decent deal?

Awesome looks and plenty of power !!!
Was sold on this the minute I saw it. They go fast, I think I got the last one.

 

I just bought the 800 version of that same machine today, same color and everything. Nice ride.

 

Yea, I really liked it too. I had never saw one before. I've seen other brands with black plastic and if you even touched it, it looked scratched, but this stealth seems different. I wonder if it will stay looking good?

Has this color and wheel scheme been discontinued for '09?
I've never seen one before but maybe I just missed them.
My favorite dealer does'nt have one and I hope I don't lose a friend because I may have to buy from another dealer.
When I told him about it, he said, "oh I can sell you an '09 for that price, but it was red with steel wheels. I also see nothing about this 'stealth black with fancy wheels' on the '09 Ploaris website.
If they discontinued it, that makes me want it more.
So how does it look after riding it and getting it filthy several times?
This question , I'm a little scared to ask.
I live in Colorado and ride the ROCKY Mountains. Are these aluminum wheels going to break easy?

 

The stealth black was a limited edition for 2008. Its not available in 2009. The wheels are standard on the stealth black LE but the price is $300 extra. The price on the 500 EFI was $7299. I got mine for $6500 OTD price. I bought the black 800 efi last month and my wife liked it so much we called the dealer to get her a 500 efi in stealth black. They checked here in Indiana and there was only 2 left in the state. So my dealer went 100 miles and got it for me. We pick it up on Tuesday of this week.

I actually got my 800 EFI first. She has an 06 200cc Polaris Sawtooth. I let her ride my 800 efi and I started riding the sawtooth. This simply was not going to work. She got a new job making more dough so I gave in and told her to find a matching black 500 efi. She did the legwork on it and were picking it up on Tuesday.
