i went riding sunday and this is how it went.i put on a set of itp xct tires and offset itp 190 wheels to try out.it widened the bike out about a 1 1/2 inches.first we went riding in the trees and i came down a trail in a wooded area and jumped a berm into the trees and when i landed i hit a pine tree about 2 inches in diam with the left arms,it hit hard but the tree did give and away i went no problem.later i went between a big tree and a five foot tall boulder a littel to fast and the front end didnt quite fit, stoped me hard enough it lifted the back end up,backed up, no prob.next it stuffed the left front into to a reveen sort of angeld,it hit really hard, hard enough to bend the left tie rod tube bad,did not hurt the a arms at all.i went home pulled the tube off and straightend it,set the toe and put my stock tires on the offset wheels, witch makes it handel great. i weigh 190 and have jumped this bike off 5-6 foot ledges all the time even landing front first,so as far as the a-arms go i havent figured out how anyone has bent them unless they are better at dishing out abuse then me?
