Hey guys, bought a 2008 Sportsman 500 4x4 today and need a trailer hitch for it. I looked on www.purepolaris.com but this is all I could find:



That's exactly what I want but it only fits a Ranger. It looks like it'd fit our Sportsman but it says it's only for Rangers and RZRs. Anyone know where I could find a hitch just like that but fits the Sportsman too?

really.. thats wierd.. you think they would fit all... like a minivan reciever... i didnt think they were customized.. i would call a polaris dealer and see if it would fit...

 

rangers have a 2 inch reciever, sportsmans have the smaller one.

 

I got a reese one at auto zone, walmart has them too
it's 1 1/4"

 

Okay thanks. I later read that you can get that hitch in the 1 1/4 inch but I couldn't figure out when ordering it how to choose the 1 1/4 inch option. But I'll just go to Wal Mart. Thanks alot!
