Well guys this is the problem. I'm helping a friend with a problem with his 86 quadracer. We have no spark! I have replace the Stator, Coil, and all electrical wires, except the 2 running to the tail light. I'm out of Ideas or leads on what to check next! Any info would be great. Thats why I ride red, we're always pulling out of the trails when we ride, no offence Suzuki guys.

Does it have a CDI box? Have you replaced that?

The CDI box is good! I just don't know what else to check.

Thsi is funny but me and a freind had the same problem with a 3 wheeler 250es Honda. It turned out to be the battery was so dead that it would not let the bike fire. I never would have thought of this. Not sure if that quad has a battery or not but if not go over the wires again and make sure the grounds are grounding out good.

The little things......
Have you checked the little stuff like grounds to the motor/frame? How about the spark plug wire itself? Is the coil getting a signal?

check the wiring to the kill switch and the kill switch.i believe this is a normally closed circuit on the suzi-unplug the kill and hook the 2 wires together.

Everyone thanks for all the suggestions. I retested the CDI box and sure enough it was fried. A friend before said he checked it and said it was fine! Lesson to be learned, if you want it done right the first time do it yourself! Everyone keep it on two! Talk with you all later
