all i want to know is what is the difference i know the difference in the spacer plates but thats about it

87 trx250r stroker/long rod

86-87 short rod engine, bigger bore, 88-89 long rod engine smaller bore, popular mod was long rod engine with 86-87 cylinder with spacer plate.
