Champion Spark Plugs?
#1
The only thing my 800 has done in the past two months is moved out of the garage and back in because of an overcharging problem that i have just solved. Just so happends that i fouled out one of my plugs. i looked all over town and the only plugs i can find are champions. i have seen topics in the past saying not to run champions. My question is why. i have used champions in the past with other engines and have also used expensive plugs. i cannot tell the difference. I am an electronic/electrician kind of guy that is not so bad at wrenching. Im not so strong on engines. so, can anyone tell me the difference?

reportedly the champion spark plugs dont give you the max power other types do. ive had champion plugs in lawnmowers before and all they do is ether melt or foul out. i think they are just cheep. even had one small engine that did nothing but spit out champions literally. put in an identical compeditors plug in and never had a problem. i just REFUSE to use them or put them in any mechine

ANY decent power sports dealer should have NGK BKR7E plugs. I've even used BKR6E with NO problems since 2002. Almost ALL the Champions in the 02 700's would come in to the shop with rough running, fouled, sooty plugs! I still use em in my lawnmower but thats it!
