Default Locknut fell off valve adjuster! LoL

i started my warrior up yesterday and i noticed it ran weak and made really loud valvetrain noise. so i shut it off and went ahead to adjust the valve clearances, the exhaust one was ok, then i look at the intake and theres no locknut on it and the adjuster moved its way all the way out! so there was a crap load of clearance, so i looked around inside and a saw the nut sitting nestled in a crevase lol, so i figured id try and use my dads little telescoping magnet thinger to try and get it out without pulling the cam out, but i have yet to find it so hopefully i can find it today. but thats my story, i thought i was in some serious crap and was gonna get mad if something was shot because the engine has alot of new parts, the valve adjusters, locknuts, exhaust gasket, timing chain, valves, valveseals, camshaft are all no older then a year and a half.

Funny story--mine did the exact same thing in March. Don't know how it got lodged in the head without causing any damage, still.

Was in a hurry earlier--but I wanted to mention I ended up still having to pull the head and get it to come loose--and in the process I dropped a screwdriver bit in the case! But I got lucky there too and just fished it out through a couple access holes on the clutch side with the clutch cover off. After you put it back on be sure to check it after your first few rides to be sure it stays tight.
