I have cleaned the cab many times replaced fuel lines and filter some times I will start it and it runs fine then I will shut it off restart and then it back fires or I have no throttle response after 1/4 throttle I have changed the spark plug and done a comp. test 120psi not shore where to go from here thank

Could be old speed regulator module, shorting out,or limiting when warm causing backfiring. Should be under tank area, not sure if wire colors are like 88 and later models,BUT if has a black wire, try disconnecting and see if solves problem. Good Luck

To me it sounds like you may have some trash in the bowl stopping up the jets. Try getting a Carb Kit for it and rebuilding it and make sure you clean the bowl and passageways good. Good Luck with it. I am about to start working on a Trail Boss 325

This was the early design modules that failed quite often,as far as that goes the LATER reverse limiter modules failed also! Polaris's intentions were good, but reverse limiters have never worked out,can short out and limit forward and reverse. Good luck

LEAVE IT DISCONNECTED,not worth paying about 60 bucks for a module that will go out again!
