Default Mud Riding

Okay, so mud season is upon us and I have read a few posts from people having mechanical and electrical problems from riding in the mud. Soooo, I thought since there are many of you popo riders out there that sling mud waaayyy more than I do it would be a good time to put in your 2 cents and tell everyone what you do to keep your popo healthy and reliable before and after a ride. Also, what do we check post ride and how much more often do you change fluids? Thanks in advance for sharing! Oh, don't forget to include any mudding photos!!!

Keep machine clean and lube joints after powerwashing. Change oil every 100 hours and keep the air filter clean. Inspect CV boots for tear after each mud trip. Easy to do and take very little time and pays off by the machine lasting longer without any expensive failures.

To help keep the machine clean I always spray the underside and and under the seat with cheap furnisher polish. After the ride the mud just hoses right off!!

On the clutch cover there should be a drain plug use that to remove any water that may have got in there.
