I love living where I do!!

I started this morning by cooking a nice breakfast and watching some Football. After a little while I bundled up and went for a ride that lasted about 2 hours. I then came home, took a hot shower, and am planning on watching more football before I have to go to work. WTF was I thinking living in Anchorage for 5+ years. I don't know what heaven is like, but this can't be far from it!!
In the first two pics I am sitting on a frozen lake. I am new to this area and just found it! It is about a 1/2-3/4 a mile long. Fun to pin the throttle and go through the gears!

Too cold for me! LOL! I hate the snow.....some of my friends have snowmobiles and talked me into going out with them last year. I really don't like the feeling of driving 80 mph on snowy, icy conditions and not really having control with trees all around! But, I did it anyway so they would shut up and leave me alone with my quad. I hated it! The best part was watching them spend half the day digging themselves out of chest deep snow. Then, they spend most of their down time fixing all the things they broke! No thanks, I'll stick to atv's, even in the snow! LOL!

Nice! That place looks really pretty but way too cold for me to enjoy! LOL! I live and hour away from some of the best dunes in the country, Little Sahara Utah, which is paradise for me. Thanks for sharing your pics!

The last picture has me wishing for some accumulation. I love riding when the snow levels off and smoothes out the bumps and whoop-dee-doos. We haven't had enough to cover the ground yet. Last week it snowed then got up to 70 degrees. This week it's staying colder.

Went riding the whole day.

Ended the day at a local watering whole.

Why do you got to rub it in like that man? Are you just trying to make us mad at you for some reason? What did we ever do to you? (jk)
