I have 2 Recons and have never plowed snow with either, however my experience with both is that anything over about 4"-5" of snow and they do not move too well at all so doubt they would plow any real amount very well either.

Personally I'm using a KQ 450 with a Warn 60" plow and I'm quite pleased.
I feel that the 4 wheel drive is very important and is what makes any plow work.
This topic came up last year and one fellow said that the 250s worked well IF you know HOW to use them...
He went on to describe the plow and how he added extra weight over the drive wheels to ensure traction. ... OK if it works for you go for it, but it sounds like you're stressing out the frame, engine and suspention to me.
But that's just my opinion.
