I have a 01 bb 400 ,i am looking to buy a grizzly to get more power but i am nervous about loosing the performance on tight trails.Any of you grizzly riders have any thing to say about that?Hows the suspension handle jumps. Can you pull up the front tires or does it just take off?

I used to own a 99 Kodiak, which is essentially the same as a 2001 Big Bear. I now own a 2001 Grizzly. There is no aspect of riding that my Grizzly is not better at then my Kodiak was. The two biggest differences are power and handling. The Grizzly is heavier, but having the 2WD option makes for much more predictable steering at high speeds. The Grizzly is larger, and there are a few spots that it won't go because of its width, that my Kodiak could fit though. On the other hand there is no place that my Kodiak could go that my Grizzly can't. In fact, the opposite is true. There are quite a few places I can go with my Grizzly that my Kodiak couldn't. Better ground clearence and power. Plus the Grizzly is a much better candidate for over sized tires due to its superior power. In 8 months of some very hard riding at times, I have never had any problems with my Grizzly, large or small! I have also ridden on some fairly tight trails with sport quads and been able to keep up just fine. I had to work for it, because the Grizzly is alot heavier then the sport bikes, but I stayed with them never the less.
