I was just wondering if "fishlessman" has bought the track kit for his 500 X2 yet?
If so, did you buy the Polaris Prospector Pro-S kit or an aftermarket set? I want to buy the Prospector kit because Polaris told me they would cover them under my warranty. Also if someone else knows the total width of the Polaris tracks installed on a 2008 500 X2 I would appreciate the info. The dealership that I deal with can't seem to get me this information. My trailer size is not an issue, but the door size in my shed is! I know the TJD kit is 53" wide on this bike but the Pro-S kit is supposed to have a wider foot print. Thanks in advance for any info.

 

Fishless appaarently hasn't bout yet. Asked the same question as you on WWW.Trackshare.com about the width and a poster with the same equipment advised it was 52" outside to outside.

Mongrol, logged it into favorites. when i get most of the money put away ill be looking thru all the posts again. really leaning to the pro s because atleast there is a dealer here, not many have track setups around here which i find surprising because we do get some deep snow, snow in the yard last year was about 6 feet deep and the lakes were slush city. i think the pros will do what i want from them

 

Know what ya mean. They look like a great product. When you get them, post some pics for us.

 

Even a video of going thru or on top of snow would be cool too!
